Squirrels

There was a squirrel appeared in the back garden a short while. Man, can those little creatures move fast. I picked up my camera to take a picture of it and it was gone.....a few gardens down I saw it running along the wall. In my 40 years only twice have I seen a squirrel in this town and the first time was only a few weeks ago.

It was grey. I think I've only seeen them on a few occasions. I remember being surprised by seeing hundreds of them in Edinburgh and that was about 20 years ago. I wonder what they taste like.

I bet they taste like chicken but with a hint of nuttiness

that got me thinking - how comes we eat some animals and not others?? Do you think that over time , man has tried every animal and these days, through word of mouth or whatever, we generally eat the ones that our anscesters deemed as pallatable? I mean - chicken seems to be a staple - like a vegetable almost, but why chicken? Rather than a crow for instance?

btw fat and bald - I was just looking at your list of likes - and you note down Franz Ferdinand as one of them - is this a sarcastic jibe - as in - they are soooo shit that I will say I like them as some kind of joke - or do you really like them - and what was the comment on this blog that has been deleted by you?

I've wondered who thought up the idea of boiling eggs.

The removed post was nothing sinister - what I meant to write was that maybe chickens taste like squirrel without the nuttiness but it came out as
KILL MAGGIE THATCHER
KILL MAGGIE THATCHER

Franz Ferdinand - at the time I wrote that in my profile I did quite like them. And some songs I do still like. I heard one song recently and thought it sounded great and was surprised to find it was FF. I heard a song by S Club 7 and tried to download it. I can like many songs that most people would find naff.

hmm - eggs
do you think our anscestors (dunno how to spell that) spent many a day boiling all sorts of things and found that eggs boiled best? I often think - if the the world was full of people like me - then we would have no internet no leccy no nothin - we would still be runnin around in the nude and grunting at eachother - thank fook for these intelligent people who grab life by the bollocks and invent things and implement things - they never cease to amaze me. Artists and footballers and people like that who are famous for kicking a few goals in or painting a nice piccy fail to impress me - but the inventors and scientists etc - I am totally in awe of them. It's like - I know who george best is - but who got the tinternet up and running?? It's scandalous how people are not more amazed by what they have in the modern world? Catch my drift?

ancestors

If you look at the bottom of my blog page you'll see who invented the internet. It's been there for years.

I like the idea of running about in the nude and grunting at each other. Maybe I'd get a shag. Probably not. Probably be too shy to grunt.

"Me-want-to-shag-a-panda" - you probably won't like "me-hate-panda" but you might like someone that used to post on my blog "me-luv-pandas".

I'm amazed by people that invented musical instruments....guitars, flutes, saxophone, trumbones, french horns.

I am not too amazed at people who 'invented' instruments- geez - I invent a new instrument every day. But really - I just feel so pathetic in comparision to these people who have made major changes to the way we live.
